You've consumed the articles, watched the videos, maybe even taken a quiz. You understand the concepts — ego, binary thinking, suffering, impermanence. But understanding isn't the same as experiencing. Knowing the map isn't the same as walking the terrain.
100 days is when people first taste freedom from suffering. Not enlightenment — just the first real proof that the path works.
— Billy, July Life CoachNo videos to binge. No content to consume. Just daily instructions — what to do, for how long, and why. Each week builds on the last. By Week 14, you'll be doing things you couldn't imagine doing on Day 1.
Every day for 100 days, you know exactly what to practice. No guessing, no decision fatigue.
Start with 5 minutes. End with 40-minute meditation sits and 324 bows. The protocol builds you up gradually.
Each phase has a guiding principle — a lens to carry through your day and your practice.
Track your meditation, bows, and streaks in the July Practice App. Watch your consistency compound.
Four phases. Each one builds on the last. You don't need to prepare — just show up on Day 1.
Phase 1 — Foundation
Weeks 1–4 · Days 1–28
"I will say yes and do first" → "Difficult things can be done with ease"
Phase 2 — Deepening
Weeks 5–8 · Days 29–56
"I have the freedom to do what I don't want to do" → "Results are side effects of walking the path"
Phase 3 — Inquiry
Weeks 9–12 · Days 57–84
Your own mantra — chosen, not given
Phase 4 — Intensive
Weeks 13–14 · Days 85–100
Your mantra, tested by fire
Practice is not about getting better at meditating. It's about getting better at being a human being.
Do I need prior meditation experience?
No. The protocol starts with 5 minutes of sitting. If you can sit in a chair for 5 minutes, you can begin. The structure builds you up gradually — that's the whole point.
What are "bows" (prostrations)?
A full-body bow is a physical practice from Korean Buddhist tradition. You stand, kneel, place your forehead to the ground, then stand again. It's a practice of the body, not just the mind. Week 3 starts with 36 — by Week 14, you'll be doing 324 in a single session.
How much time per day does this take?
Weeks 1–2: about 10 minutes. By Weeks 13–14, the intensive sits are 40 minutes and the 324 bows take roughly 45 minutes. Most of the program lives in the 15–30 minute range.
What if I miss a day?
You pick up where you left off. This isn't about perfection — it's about returning. That's literally the practice.
Is this a subscription?
No. One payment of $97 gives you lifetime access to the full 100-day protocol.
Is this religious?
The practices come from Korean Buddhist tradition, but this program is secular. No beliefs required. Billy approaches Buddhism as a technology for reducing suffering, not a religion to adopt.
Not because you read something. Because you practiced something — every single day — and your body, your mind, and your relationship to suffering will all be different on Day 100 than they are today.
